Jessica + Daniel

Jess and Dan were married during January this year at Middlebrook Estate in McLaren Vale, South Australia. McLaren Vale is a wine region just a 45 minute drive out of Adelaide. With it’s beautiful scenery, and equally beautiful wines, it is the perfect place to have your wedding if you want somewhere not too far from Adelaide, but away from the hustle and bustle of the city. 

 

The beautiful couple were married underneath the pristine gazebo circled by the lush vineyards and surrounded by close family and friends. The gazebo was perfectly decorated with floral pieces that matched Jess’s own bridal blooms perfectly. The couple each arrived in a retro daffodil yellow Kombi van. These vehicles were not only stunning but also had a sweet personal meaning to the couple. The ceremony was a romantic affair, filled with love, laughs and dare I say a few tears too. 

 

I love photographing weddings at Middlebrook, its such a popular wedding venue for a reason. I think that the way the sunlight hits the vines really makes for perfect wedding photos. As an Adelaide wedding photographer I truly believe that McLaren Vale is home to some of the most photogenic scenery in Adelaide. The stars of the photos excluding the bride and groom would have to be the Kombi vans. As they were a special symbol for the couple, I made sure to include them at main features in the photos, and don’t they just look gorgeous! 

 

The couple had their reception in Middlebrook Estate’s Roxton Function Room. The cobblestone pavement of the floor and abundance of natural light created a gorgeous, natural feel to the early evening. This feeling was added to by the beautiful rustic wedding cake in the centre of the room, topped and perfected with fresh flowers.  

 

It was such a pleasure to photograph you, Jess and Dan, it was an honour to be there. The both of you and your bridesmaids and entertaining groomsmen were all so lovely and the love you have for each other really shines through in the following photos. Congratulations Jess and Dan xx!!
